The Circular-SAR(CSAR) is an emerging SAR system, The traditional SAR use thestraight line trajectory, instead of that, CSAR use the circular path. CSAR broke throughthe limit on the extent of spatial spectrum with circular path, which led to the resolutionof CSAR is better than that of the traditional SAR. Meanwhile, based on theparticularity of its trajectory, CSAR has the three-dimensional resolution capability,which the traditional SAR doesn’t have. CSAR have important applications in the fieldof terrain exploration, Military three-dimensional topographic map construction,agricultural monitoring, etc. Has been a lot of attention in recent years.This thesis is focusing on the CSAR three-dimensional imaging theory, echomodeling, imaging algorithms. Carry out the following research:1. Analog CT imaging theory and CSAR imaging, compare the similarities anddifferences between them. Researched CSAR imaging mechanism. Researched theresolution of CSAR. Deduced the expression of the CSAR resolution. Laid a theoreticalfoundation for the CSAR imaging.2. Established the imaging model and the echo signal model of CSAR, researchedthe characteristics of the echo signal of CSAR. Provided simulation of echo signal.Researched CSAR range history. Analyzed CSAR phase-shift function. Provides atheoretical guidance for the CSAR imaging.3. Conducted a feasibility analysis of CSAR three-dimensional imaging. DeducedCSAR time domain three-dimensional imaging algorithm. Deduced frequency domainthree-dimensional imaging algorithm and signal processing procedure. Researched thetechnique of frequency domain image reconstruction. Provided simulation of target intwo-dimensional and three-dimensional. Provides a direct technical approach to CSARimaging.
