With the rapid development of computer science and network technology, endusers of computer have a more and more strong dependence on the Internet, whiletraditional MIS(Management Information System) can’t endure the huge requirement ofHTTP access and network storage. Through careful and deep study of virtualization andcloud computing, fortunately, combining MIS with Cloud computing science couldsolve this problem appropriately. This paper is based on the practical requirement ofcollege Cloud management system, and focuses on automatic application deploymenton Cloud management platform.Begin with, detailed pre-study about MIS, virtualization and cloud computer istaken to get an overall understanding of the paper’s structure and make sure the researchdirection of this paper. After that, the main focus of the paper is ensured, which is thestudy and realization about automatic deployment of application in Eucalyptus privatecloud. In Chapter3, system requirement has been discussed, as a result, several designprinciples established, also two main functionalities. The next two chapters are theimportant and difficult point of this paper. In Chapter4, system design and architectureis illustrated in detail, while coding work has been down in Chapter5. And then, wetake the application “HAProxy” as example to complete the whole workflow ofautomatic deployment in cloud platform. As the expected results come out, it suggeststhat the idea of this paper is feasible. In the end, this paper makes a conclusion andanalyzes some future work.This paper puts forward a detailed, feasible solution to automatically deployapplications on private cloud platform, which may provide some references to thedevelopment of our college’s cloud management platform in the future.
