In recent years, with the vigorous development of the Internet of Things industry,wireless sensor network technology has been paid an extensive attention fromresearchers. Wireless sensor network node has become one of the fundamental researchin wireless sensor networks. Due to the problems of the balance of power consumption,transmission efficiency, routing mechanism, cost control, node management, and manyother problems to be solved, the research of wireless sensor network node has been ahot pursuit of the researchers. Wireless sensor network applications, such as shoppingguide, navigation, target recognition and object positioning, require location-basedinformation services. Wireless sensor network localization technology is an importantpremise to achieve these applications. Thus, the combination of the wireless sensornode and localization technology has important theoretical and practical significance.According to the actual needs of the wireless sensor network indoor locolazationscenarios, this thesis proposed the ultimate goal of designing and achieving thewireless sensor network node for indoor locolazation, include designing andimplementing of the sensor node hardware. And this thesis ported the wireless sensornetwork operating system Contiki OS to the hardware. By a series of works, this thesishad achieved the goal.The main content of this thesis include:1. An overall solution of designing node models. Based on analysis of applicationscenarios, location-oriented features and applications of wireless sensor networks, thisthesis designed three kinds of node model and corresponding functions.2Node function and hardware design. With TI CC2530chip which integrated withan enhanced8051MCU and a radio transceiver chip, this thesis completed peripheralcircuit design to achieve complete sensor network node hardware.3. The node operation system and software design. Based on the the CC2530chipsensor node, this thesis ported Contiki OS to the hardware, designed functionalprograms. By analysis of current wireless sensor network communication protocol andnetwork model, this thesis proposed and implemented the RPL routing protocols routing method. And the function program is coded according to the design of the nodemodel.5. Verification of the performance of wireless sensor nodes and wireless sensornetwork communication capability. Finaly this thesis conducted functional test for thesensor nodes, the RSSI value test and packet loss rate test. By analyzing all the testresults, wireless sensors nodes passed the test and verified of the localization algorithm.The test results show that the wireless sensor node is able to satisfy the designrequirements.Finanlly, according to the series of work above, this thesis completed the designand implementation of wireless sensor network node and achieved the project’sobjectives.
