Millimeter wave and submillimeter wave in dual-use application have widelyprospect. Vacuum electronics Cherenkov radiation source as a kind of importantcoherent radiation sources, developing and application of the spectrum resources haveimportant value.High-frequency structure as the core part of the radiation source, the performancewill directly affect the quality of radiation source. The main work is as follows:(1) We used the field matching method to solve dispersion equation. Comparedwith the simulation calculation result, a good agreement was gained. The structureparameters on the dispersion characteristics and coupling impedance influence havebeen studied. Research indicates that period and the length of the hole had a greatinfluence on the dispersion curves and coupling impedance, the dispersion curves andcoupling impedance is almost not influenced by the height of the hole.(2) Through the simulation of thermal characteristic frequency system, theinfluence of the working voltage, the focusing magnetic field, the period numbers ofthe structure on the beam-wave interaction have been analyzed.(3) Completing high frequency structure of processing, cold measurementexperiment has carried out. Some reference resonance points were obtained byexperimental measurement. The experimental results are in good agreement withsimulation results. It verified the reliability of experiment measurement.
