The fourth generation mobile communication system provides the unlimitedexperiencee of intelligent communication, along with the internet to connect to themobile terminal, people’s demands for communication quality and speed continuouslyput forward. MIMO antenna as an important link of MIMO technology in the fourthgeneration mobile communication system, the quality of it has the direct bearing on theperformance of the whole communication system. The technology of mobile terminalMIMO antenna is the current popular scholars research, and the main difficulty lies inthe contradiction between the isolation and size limits. While the research of the MIMOantenna technology based on mode decomposition applied to mobile terminal is still notmature, this kind of antenna has main advantages of good isolation degree, poor antennacorrelation. Based on this, this paper will do more in-depth research to MIMO antennabased on mode decomposition.Paper main research work:1. Given a reasonable theoretical derivation and interpretation for the MIMOantenna based on mode decomposition and provided the overall design scheme;2. MIMO antenna is studied, based on antenna form of PIFA, with the applicationof floor grooving and controling strips form, we independently design and built adual-band antenna which can meet the demand of our band;3. Dual-band hybrid feeder network is studied, through theoretical analysis, andthe application of innovation, We have realized the required double frequency spectrumon the basis of the traditional hybrid ring, using the parallel coupling compact inverterand the structure of the meander-line at the same time to compact the design.4. Integration of antenna and feeder, using the software ADS to optimize match,eventually one side match to lower frequency bandwidth, and the index of highfrequency, complete can meet the demand.Practice has proved that MIMO antenna based on mode decomposition system inthe mobile terminal applications, can reduce the channel correlation, but for theshortcomings of narrow band in one of two modes, this article have’t give a good solution. In this paper, the research for MIMO antenna based on mode decomposition isvery significant.
