Interleave Division Multiple Access has not only inherited the anti-fading,anti-narrowband interference ability advantage from Code Division Multiple Access, but also has better performance on resisting access interference, inter-symbolinterference as well as non-synchronization problem campared to CDMA.This article focuses on IDMA. Specific research contents are as follows:The first chapter describes the IDMA technology. At first, the system model and itsdetection algorithm of CDMA technology are introduced, and the advantages anddisadvantages of CDMA are analyzed. Then the system model and its detectionalgorithm under different transmission channel of IDMA are derived. Finally theadvantages of IDMA are verified by simulation results. The second chapter focuses on OFDM-IDMA technology. Orthogonal frequencydivision Multiplexing (OFDM) technology and its advantages on against multipathfading channel are introduced in the first chapter. The OFDM-IDMA technology, whichcombining the two advantages to the maximum is introduced in the second section. Insection2.3the Orthogonal Frequency and Code division multiplexing (OFCDM)technology is briefly explained. OFCDM not only has the flexible structure, but also canachieve better time and freqence domain diversity gain. In section2.4the scheme ofIDMA-CDMA system is introduced, through the combination with CDMA technology,IDMA-CDMA shows good anti-jamming performance and of large system capacitycompared to OFCDM by simulation results. Section2.5a2Dimention-IDMA system ispresented. Through the spreading of the time and frequency domain simultaneously, thescheme can schieve much more time-frequency diversity gain while the interleave depthis increased. Performance has been improved dramatically by using time-domainchannel characteristics,.The third chapter mainly discusses the peak-to-average problems of IDMA. At firsta new type of IDMA named multilayer IDMA is introduced. How to guarantee the BER performance under the condition of using clipping method is discussed. In the secondsection an improved scheme based on compensation algorithm is proposed, which canbe applied to complex channel scenario. Since the PAPR problem is a well-establishedeproblem in OFDM-IDMA system, some existing PAPR reduction methods areinverstigated to reduce PAPR. Simulation results are presented in the third section in thecase of SLM and PTS methods. The fourth chapter studies the interleavers designing. Both the orthogonal and non-orthogonal interleavers are described. Then the principle and generation process oflinear congruence interleaver are introduced and campared with pseudo randominterleaver, orthogonal interleaver and nested interleaver. Furthermore, a new shemebased on phase rotation for interlerleave division multiplexing is proposed. Through therandom sequence and simple xor operation with the data, complexity and latency arereduced.
