With the continuous development and utilization of energy resources worldwide, fewer and fewer non-renewable energy resources, and increasing the use of non-renewable resources, damage to the environment, arising from the environmental problems pose a serious threat to the survival of the human. To solve the energy shortage and environmental pollution problems, the only way is the use of distributed renewable energy and the development of low-carbon economy. The more common practice is the large scale introduction of distributed renewable energy, convert it into a clean source of electricity storage utilization, however, a large number of distributed energy connected to the grid will have on the safe operation of the power grid caused some risk. Smart grid technologies proposed, precisely in order to solve the problem of the safe operation of a large number of distributed energy grid access, fully ensure the reliability of the power grid operatioa The paper through the analysis of existing power system communication, to determine a dual-channel communications transmission system based on OFDM technology to meet the smart grid communications and monitoring and control requirements of the building. Smart grid distribution network branch is more complex, monitor and control the number of nodes is relatively large, real-time requirements, analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the power line communications and wireless communications transmission channel, power line communication based on OFDM technology and wireless communication with grid dual-channel communication scheme. Complete dual-channel communications solutions using power line communications and wireless communications, two transmission channel, the application of OFDM technology modulated transmission signal, in order to reduce the fading of the signal transmission in wireless communication channel. Two single-channel and dual-channel system using Simulink software simulation, analysis of the results of the three channel case, the comparison against the dual-channel system signal-to-noise ratio is better than two single-channel.Finally, the dual-channel system partially improved by Simulink software simulation, analysis of the results of the four channels, contrast simulation results improved dual-channel program to be better than the effect in the first three channels. And improved dual-channel system performance to meet the industrialization of communication with the monitoring and control requirements of the smart grid.
