The frequency source phase synchronization and control technology is animportant part of the navigation system, and its performance indicators directly affectthe precision of navigation and timing. So it has practical significance to study the phasesynchronization and control technology of the frequency sources.This paper mainly researches on the phase synchronization and control technologyof the frequency sources. In accordance with the requirements of the cooperationdepartment, it introduces the system circuit with low noise and high control precision.Also it develops the frequency control algorithm in two ways, the control technology ofmaster clock and backup clock.As the master clock is the using satellite clock, so its performance directly affectsthe precision of navigation, positioning and timing. Based on historical data modelingand compensation has been done to improve satellite clock’s frequency-temperaturefeatures. The focus of this article is on the drift rate compensation. Due to the singledirection of time, the drift rate compensation cannot like temperature compensation tomodel and compensate based on historical data. So this article takes the use of knownhistorical data of the master clock for the establishment of the model library, finallyusing correlation of the clock under test with the model in library to get the drift ratemodel of it. Avoid the problem that the clock drift rate model is difficult to get. In orderto achieve the purpose that when there is something wrong with the main clock, it canquickly and accurately switch to the backup clock. This article adopted the feedbackalgorithm to adjust the backup clock, so once the master clock has problem it canquickly and seamlessly switch to the backup clock. In order to improve the control andadjustment precision of the clocks, the random phase jitter injection technology is addedto improve the DDS phase truncation stray when to control the DDS.This paper not only analyzes the phase synchronization method of the master andbackup clock theoretically but also applies it into reality to demonstrate its feasibility.
