Design And Implementation Based On The Portal Protocol Security Authentication Access

With the advent of information technology and knowledge industries, more and more information is generally transmitted through the Internet. Large parts of the communications between people or between the companies are online. So the identify authentication which recognize the correctness of a person or company becomes indispensable in network technology.This paper focuses on the research and implementation of a secure identity authentication scheme which is named Portal protocol-based security authentication access. The implementation of this access authentication scheme is built on the Portal protocol. It is a direct-mode authentication which is widely used as the form of an authentication currently. It is suitable for two kinds of authentications include the client-mode and the web-mode. In accordance with the software engineering methodology, the paper firstly analyses the basic function and business requirements of the system, then gradually builds the entire system architecture and makes analysis of it, eventually accomplishes the Portal Secure Access by linking the user terminal, access equipment, RADIUS server and Portal server together. The result of test shows that the Portal authentication system can achieve normal authentication in these two forms of authentication on client and web especially in authentication of large users (100), it can also achieve normal authentication and has a good performance.
