In recent years, With the rapid increase of the number of cars, car safety has becomeone of the issues of most concern,control the security of automotive electronics andautomotive entertainment communication Smart Car equipment have also been more andmore attention. As the core of the intelligent vehicle equipment, embedded operating systemis the importance of safety is self-evident. Earlier at home and abroad, most of the OriginalEquipment Manufacturers are mostly more to use stable WinCE to their operating system.With Microsoft abandoned WinCE and the high licensing fees, by virtue of its security andstability, as well as open source, embedded Linux operating system has become mainstream.However, the special nature of the many versions of the Linux kernel, and automotiveelectronics, embedded Linux operating system, there are many areas for improvement.This paper is focusing on improving the real-time embedded Linux operating systemoptimized for fast sleep wake-up technology, to improve the safety and reliability of theembedded operating system for smart vehicle equipment, and at the same time made aspecific analysis of the the improved Linux operating system in the application of intelligentvehicle equipment, The main work of this paper are as follows:(1) Describes the design of embedded systems and embedded Linux operatingsystem,and analysis the development and direction of the car smart devices embeddedoperating system, Summary of the lack of vehicle intelligent devices embedded operatingsystem design, which provides a guideline for improving the embedded operating system.(2) Proposed preemption threshold the LSF algorithm to improve the Linux kernelprocess scheduling algorithm based on the intelligent vehicle equipment, to improve thereal-time embedded Linux operating system.(3)Do some specific research for BootLoader cutting, the Linux kernel cutting and filesystem cutting. Combination of the Linux operating system at startup lack of time, basedsnapshot technology to propose the sleep of the Linux operating system wake-up time. (4) Test the cutted embedded operating system and put it to development board, throughexperiments to verify after cutting and optimization of the Linux operating system real-timeand stability, Released entire system SDK, and design the multimedia player module and theBluetooth phone module based on the SDK.
