Image fusion technique is the basis of the image processing and a veryimportant branch, by fusion of a plurality of sensors on a single target scenedescription, use of the redundant information in these descriptions and thecomplementary information, obtain a more streamlined, comprehensive scenedescription, in order to for the image for further processing.Image fusion technologyis a late start, there is an urgent need for extensive theoretical and technicalresearch.Image fusion technology has three levels (pixel level, feature-level,decision-making level). Pixel-level image fusion is the basis of the other two levels.Inthis paper, the two aspects of the pixel-level image fusion, on the one hand, are thefusion algorithm and improved evaluation system, on the other hand, for thefusion.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1. In this paper, in order to achieve classic algorithm: This paper studies fourkinds of classic fusion algorithm. Finally, these are renlinged for our classicprogramming algorithm in MATLAB. For selecting infrared light and visible lightFigure multi-focus map, remote sensing Figure (IR/LL), Medical diagram (CT/MRI)experiment.2. Experiments based on three factors affect clarity (independence, contrast,cumulative); analysis of the existing definition of indicators, to give a new evaluationmethod and the use of computer-generated map and the actual acquisition pictureto improve the clarity of evaluation:simulation and analysis.3. Improved image fusion algorithm based on the block: Analysis of advantagesand disadvantages of fusion algorithm based on the original block starting blockchoice rules to block definition evaluation methods and improved, The definitionevaluation function improved in the third chapter, the use of the improved algorithm,the improved algorithm and the original algorithm to select a different definitionevaluation function and block size fusion; final consolidated figures and tables fromthe main objective of improved the performance of the algorithm analysis.4.
