With the continuous development of cloud computing, cloud storage has also become a hotspot in the research field of computer technologies. Related technologies of cloud storage have proven to be effective solutions for mass data storage problem. The research for improving confidentiality and availability of cloud storage systems, if of great significance to ensure data security and further promote the development of cloud storage technologies. However, the mainstream cloud storage systems at present are still lack of security mechanisms, especially those to ensure confidentiality and availability of data. In view of the above problems, we do research for confidentiality and availability of cloud storage systems. The main contribution of this paper includes:◆Introduced the data partitioning and reconstruction algorithm, and data redundancy strategy to improve confidentiality and availability of data;◆On the basis of the algorithm and HDFS (Hadoop Distributed File System), designed a new data block control flow and developed HCAFS (High Confidentiality and Availability File System) cloud storage prototype system;◆Conducted a series of performance comparison tests for HDFS and HCAFS, and analyzed the tests’results;◆Designed and developed a cloud service monitoring and management platform to get a better observation of the performance of file systems.
