The mass remote sensing data distribution system, a solution for sharing and distribution of the remote sensing data, handles the problems of overload of single data source, waste of the bandwidth resource and low system availability. The article which focus on the P2P architecture of the mass remote sensing data distribution, designs and implements the remote sensing data subscription system, the peer-to-peer web service platform and the scalable remote sensing data cache system which supports replication number auto adjustment. While making full use of the available network bandwidth resources, the system eliminating the bottleneck of single point and improving the reliability of distribution service has very important engineering value and research significance. The main achievement of this article involves the proposal and implementation of P2P services publishing technology and the remote sensing data distribution system based on the previous one. The one who get rid of traditional technology, adopting the P2P multi-point services publishing model, relieves the coupling between server and clients and simplify the development. The failover feature, which is another innovation, ensures the reliability of the remote call process if the service is redundant.
