The detection technology of aviation kerosene leak is an important onewhich related to production security, the detection technology of kerosene leakfor the development of the aviation industry has a very important significance,due to the detection of vapor concentrations are highly affected by theenvironment, the design gives a kerosene vapor concentration detection methodbased on the principle of thermal conductivity after analyzing the status of thetechnology of the related fields.The main component of the aviation kerosene is multi-carbon alkane, whichwould evaporate concentration steam that can be detected at a certaintemperature, so kerosene leak detection equals to the problem detecting the steamconcentration evaporating from multi-carbon alkane. The detection technologybased on the principle of thermal conductivity vapor concentration is designed bydifferent concentrations of gas thermal conductivity. The thermal conductivitysensor is used as the sensitive detection unit for the design, and the output signalof thermal conductivity sensor is changed by small changes of gas inenvironment, after amplifying, filtering the weak output signal of thermalconductivity sensor, and taking the linear processing by microcontroller, thecorresponding kerosene vapor concentration is get.According to the function of kerosene vapor concentration detector, theoverall program of design and research is determined in this paper. Designprimarily consists of the microprocessor, power supply, remote control receiver,weak signal processing, standard output, and digital display modules. MSP-430microcontroller of TI is used in the design as the micro-processing unit of thecorresponding data processing, digital filtering and linear calibration. Thesoftware part focuses on the main remote control decoder, concentrationcalibration, data writing, digital display and the control of standard current output. This design proposes a method of cascade temperature drift compensation, andprovides a new design idea and method for other types of thermal sensortemperature drift compensation.After the completion of this detector design, a preliminary test on the zerodrift and linear calibration has taken, then gives the reasons causing error. Theanalyzing of experimental results shows that the design meets the kerosene vaporconcentration testing requirements.
