In recent years, educational game has begun to be applied in various subjects ofbasic education and obtained some achievements.Nevertheless,research of educationalgame in domestic is still in the initial stage.Application of educational game in subjectteaching is limited to several subjects such as mathematics, English, history andsystematic theoretical guidances are lacking.The application background of this paperis fire command training simulation system,which belongs to the category of theeducational game. Actually, educational game belongs to the real-time strategy gameengine, a kind of game engine used for developing emergency games and thereforeconducting online learning and training. This game engine belongs to the category ofe-learning,which uses game as a way to make learning process simulated and providesa environment of learning and entertainment.Key technologies of real-time strategy game engine are studied in this paper.Main research work and achievements include:1.The design of the virtual training game engine architecture.The engine isdivided into various modules: graphics processing module, input management module,scene management module. Each module of Engine has an interface and implement itin its own DLL. This will facilitate the conduct of the engine iterative development,so that the coupling between the various modules to a minimum.2.The indoor scene building technology.The method of structural modelexpression was designed, and exploit Three-dimensional rapid prototyping systemcomplying with scene-oriented applications based on the method. Scene constructedby the system is intelligible.According to the intelligibility, we can convert thethree-dimensional indoor scene information into spatial data structure, then achieveindoor path tracing by combining the spatial data structure with the shortest pathalgorithm, and use it to support emergency Rescue work ultimately.3.The outdoor scene building technology. the terrain texture combining algorithmwas desihned.so the demonstrated terrain has a more highly realistic terrain. Besides,entity editing is operated in a3D scene to improve the efficiency of scene modeling.Meanwhile, terrain is generated in grids providing data support to Indoor pathfinding.Through these work, engine has clear structure and relatively independentfunction modules, and it s good at providing convenience for future extensions. Indoor and outdoor scene modeling system improve the efficiency of modeling scene.In the subsystem of the indoor scene modeling system the scene constructed bystructured model expression is intelligible. According to the intelligibility. Above all,the engine provides support to make three-dimensional simulation and fire protectionplans.
