In recent years, with the development of economy, the load has been constantlyclimbing in some big cities and regions in our country, and the development of power gridcontinues to increase. With the rapid development of grid technology, the communicationtechnology in the electric power enterprise develop rapidly in recent years, the traditionalspecial line transmission mode which is in each business service system is difficult to fullymeet the needs of the development of electric power communication business.In terms ofTangshan, since the limited capacity of equipment in central station,Tangshan PowerCommunication using existing SDH network, and employing MSTP or2M+Bridgetransformation mode, unable to meet the transport needs of electric power new IP services,thus Tangshan power grid is urgent need to build a powerful, safe and reliable integratedbusiness data platform,which adapt to the rapid development of China’s power grid, andmeet the demand of information to the electric power enterprise.First, in this paper, according to the present situation and business needs of Tangshanelectric power communication network, we completed the design of the data networkwhere the counties and cities belong to Tangshan.We research the key technology of dataservices network in power enterprise deeply.Mainly includes some majornetworkingtechnology: OSPF, BGP, and MPLS VPN.Secondly, according to the actual cable Tangshan City, we designed the topology of datanetwork in Tangshan power,based on the specific requirements to select the appropriaterouting protocol.We designed the bandwidth and link of the connection of the router fromone station to another.Based on the network security,we designed a multi-protocol labelswitching and virtual private network.Finally, we completed the router hardware installation and commissioning as well as therouter’s core software configuration with combination of the implementation of theproject,and we also completed the related testing which contains the interoperability androuting protocol test according to the characteristics of the Tangshan area network. Set upthe router test platform, according to quality of service, packet loss rate, forward delaytimer and some other performances were tested, we have obtained the satisfactory test results, proved that the router performance can meet the demand of the network, and theinteroperability of network protocol is realized.
