Telemetry module automated test system is used to test the performanceindicators of telemetry module atomaticly and comprehensively, as to enhance therapid development level of the telemetry device. As a major component of thetelemetry module automated test system, software system provide thehuman-computer interaction, as well as the operation of the entire system and control,complete the transmitter module and coding module parameter measurement and dataprocessing.First, this paper introduced the development and composition of automatictest system, and then introuced the research status of the virtual instrument at homeand abroad. Then introuced the application of LabVIEW in automatic test system,Describes the features and advantages of the LabVIEW programming, introduced theoverall system design and hardware components.Then explains the measurementprinciple of the transmitter module and coding module, proposed overall design ofsystem software. Syetem software is divided into six modules of the system function,parameter configuration, process control and data acquisition, communication control,database management, report generation. The design process of each moduledescribed respectively. The software is designed by modular, Software modulesfunction is achieved on LabVIEW2010software platform. Finally, The problems andsolutions encountered in the test system debugging process is discussed.The final design of syetem software can complete RF indicators measuring oftelemetry module,the dynamic calibration and accuracy of measurement of thecoding module, the configuration data and measurement results is stored in thedatabase, generate test reports. The practical application shows the test system notonly meet the requirements of the indicators proposed by project, but also has a highdegree of automation and reliable performance.
