By the rapid growth of the automobile of our country, Modern automotiveelectronic control technology make a high speed of development. As one of the basictechnology, automotive electronic takes a great part of the improvement of a seriespoints of car standard, such as the performance, environmental protection, energy,safety. So far electronic is not only a complement of the mechanical structure, butalso an important role of the car’s devise. In order to realize the automation,intelligent, network and information, it depends on the constant development of theelectronic technique. With the strict requirement of the process of the manufacture ofthe electronic technique, it is necessarily to have a chosen work with the electronicproduct. At present the traditional ways is the artificial means, which is not only ahigh error rate, but also easy to cause the secondary pollution, and beyond the reachof similar foreign product quality stability. So it has a very important practicalsignificance to develop the high efficiency, low price and meet domesticmanufacturers of the circuit board visual automatic sorting machine equipment.The article analyses the machine vision equipment development, then combinewith party a needs development the equipment function index. It analyzes theadvantages and disadvantages of various image acquisition on the chapter three,builds a good platform on image processing and subsequent defect recognition; Liststhe common defects influence the quality of the PCB board; The digital imageprocessing technology, in view of the PCB lack of a defect, flip chip defects, defectsand wrong loading defect of different characteristics, made the gray enhancementtensile, image binarization and morphological filtering to the collected circuitdiagram, extract the coordinate characteristics with image minus of defectidentification, make a use of industrial Ethernet in control for communicationbetween PLC and PC. MODBUS communication protocol was used in motioncontrol. A system designed a whole set of the electrical control system, PLC programwas written with PC to complete the whole detection process.Base on the designment above, visual sorting machine control system were made through the bebugging. All the device ran well, identified the PCB boardcorresponding defect, and called different separation action according to the result ofthe judge, achieved the Non-contact type PCB separation process. Detection effectand the technical indexes reached the request of manufacturer, had been formally putinto use.
