HFSWR(High Frequency Surface Wave Radar) use high-frequency verticalpolarized electromagnetic wave over-the-horizon target detection and oceanicdynamic process telemetry, with the observation distance, covering an area of workaround the clock and so on. Radar platform motion model in this paper shipborneenvironment and affected by platform motion broadening empty first-order seaclutter suppression.Firstly introduced to study the formation mechanism of the first-order seaclutter correlation properties of sea clutter, a first-order sea clutter simulation theory,and the sea ideal point target echo superposition model simulation. Were analyzedby the platform motion and broadening in the shipboard environment, first-order seaclutter spectrum and its low-speed target detection in sea given a first-order seaclutter amplitude broadening formula, different velocity under the sea clutterspectrum simulation.Secondly, starting from the actual ship of environmental parameters, the use ofthe ship dynamics theory, the establishment of the carrier ship platform with yaw,pitch, swing and other factors, including the six degrees of freedom motion model,the periodic motion plus random error model to describes the the oscillating motionof the ship, and is based on the practical application ofthe model reasonablysimplified. A detailed analysis of the impact of the carrier ship a wide variety ofsports on the first-order sea clutter spectrum, and simulation. Then, airborne earlywarning radar context of the STAP(Space and the Time the Adaptive Processing)method to be extended to the ship-borne radar, the broadening of the sea cluttersuppression. The clutter covariance matrix estimation problem, the simulationshows, STAP better clutter suppression effect, adaptive processing is suitable forshipboard conditions of the six degrees of freedom of movement of the motioncompensation.Finally, the radar side array, analysis of the motion compensation. Processingperformance in the presence of sensor error, and the empty platform speedfluctuations were analyzed. System degrees of freedom and clutter spatial degrees offreedom to discuss the different accumulation of pulses and number of elements ofsystem performance transformation. Dimensionality reduction STAP method, anddimensionality reduction method of clutter suppression performance is analyzed.
