With the advent of the information age, both in military and civilian, we putforward higher requirements for communications, traditional microwavecommunications whether on the transmission rate or transmission distance are unable tomeet the increasingly communications needs. Because of high speed, long distance andhigh security, Laser communication more and more apply in various fields ofcommunication. It analyses the impact of the attitude and orbit error to the orientation oflaser communication terminal, and the impact of flexible appendage to satellite attitudeangle. By means of designing control law of coarse pointing subsystem in lasercommunications can fine compensate the error caused by the flexible appendage.Firstly, it summarizes the research background and significance of the satellitelaser communication systems, and analyses current development of domestic andinternational inter-satellite laser communication. And put forward the problems anddifficulties of inter-satellite laser communication research.Secondly, it analyses the motion of inter-satellite laser communication terminalsystem, and considers the relative motion of the satellite, puts forward the condition tothe alignment of inter-satellite laser communication terminal system, and gives thecalculation method of the angle of the helical scan.Thirdly, it analyses the impact of the attitude and orbit control error to the directingangle of laser communication terminal, via simulation analysis, it puts forward theminimum requirements of the satellite attitude and orbit control accuracy.Finally, it analyses the impact of solar panels to satellite attitude, and obtains thepower spectral density curve of angle velocity error of satellite attitude, then gets theinterference term of coarse pointing subsystem. It designs PD control, index-basedapproach and first-order dynamic variable structure control on coarse pointingsubsystem to compensate the interference.
