As is known to all, traditional Chinese medicine and modern western medicine in thebasic theory, the diagnosis, treatment process mechanism and method of making there existgreat difference. Clinical and Health records for Analytics and Sharing (CHAS) systemthrough the will of all kinds of Chinese and western medicine clinical information integrationinto a based on standardization, computer processing model and application of advanced dataanalysis technology, for health professionals for a way to make the can for the disease and thepatient’s condition, a more in-depth understanding and matching, according to the differentmethods of traditional Chinese and western medicine, health care plan and what technology isthe best.CHAS is a very important module of Hospital informatization. The thesis starts with thebusiness model of the CHAS, which presents the requirement of CHAS via the systemfunction structure chart and the UML Use Case diagram.According to the analysis of the UseCase,we analyze and design the architecture of CHAS and easy to find out the objects whichneed persistence and their relationship.Then use entity-relation model to produce the databaseand its table forms. Used in the design of multilevel structure model, respectively, including avariety of user access client, building on the Java EE platform composite application layer,and highly available data persistence layer. Highly customized smart client (LE Client)provided based on Eclipse, open and flexible expanded platform, based on the design of MVCdesign pattern to implement used to build the support in the interface function of applicationmodule. by means of this architecture these modules are made to be independent with eachother and benefit the parallel development in a team. CHAS uses F5’s load-balancing deviceto achieve service virtualization on the application server, directory server (load balance).IBM application server (WAS) provided based on Java EE, standard and easy to expand theapplication module operation platform, used for bearing support various services Java EEapplication, the Java EE application to run the deployment unit (EDU) in the form ofdeployment in WAS.This thesis put emphasis on the architecture analysis and design of the CHAS, andexpect to achieve efficient information sharing between the various departments of the hospital, even outside the hospital and other medical institutions. In the analysis and design ofthe entire project process, always using the UML diagrams such as the description document,and the Unified Process, a prerequisite for the realization of the function.
