The Private School Education And Research In Bashu Area In Han Dynasty

The early Han Dynasty, as a result of the change of dynasties,theeffects of war and the Bashu’s own closed, the cultural education had been developedslowly in this area, so the local private school education and the advanced education hada big gap.In the Emperor Wudi of Han Dynasty period, the educational policy of“deposed100, Confucianism” began to widely spread in Bashu area. In addition to, thedevelopment of the southwest regional ruler provided an opportunity for thedevelopment of the private school education in the Bashu area. The Liberal educationpolicy of the Han Dynasty relatively made the private school education begin to developrapidly in Bashu area. In the Bashu government’s promotion, the private schooleducation had been growing rapidly. The private school education in the Bashu area metthe different strata of the educational needs for a wide range of students sources,characteristics of the teaching content diversity, and played an important role in thedevelopment of the southwest area in the Han Dynasty private school education.This paper mainly uses ‘the Redords of the Grand History of China’,‘The Historyof the Han Dynasty’,"After the Han Dynasty","Huayang" and other ancient documents,applys to the research achievements of modern scholars of the Han Dynasty privateschool education, bases on the traditional historical research, combines with education,philology and other methods of interdisciplinary research, summaries and analyses thestatus of private education in the Han Dynasty Bashu area, and expounds thecharacteristics, effect and enlightenment of the Han Dynasty Bashu area in detail.Inorder to take history as a mirror, from the development process of Bashu area of privateschool education, summing up some useful historical experience to provide somebeneficial enlightenments for China’s private education, and promote the developmentof China’s private education faster, better on the based of historical experience.The originality of this paper lies in researching the private education’s history development procedure, type, content, characteristic and the important role of privateeducation in the Bashu of Han Dynasty area, mainly from the point of view of thehistory of education. In order to provide a theoretical basis for the educational researchof Bashu area, and provide some historical experience and enlightenment for thedevelopment of private education in China.
