New teachers refer to those who have received teaching certificate and begun their teachers’ career but in the early period of teaching between one and three years. As for new teachers, the adaptation means a period of change from students to teachers, which is the process of a teachers’ professional development. It is very important to teachers’ career development. Mounts of new teachers choose to go to middle school every year, and they have to face the difficulty and confusion in the new school. It is a problem to teach the new teachers how to pass though the first stage of the teachers’ professional development for the educators all over the world.The thesis is based on the theory of teachers’ professional development and practice and manpower resource. The writer has surveyed the three new teachers’ teaching life and depth interviews in Y middle school by narrative researchThe paper is constituted of three parts. The first part has shown as charter one, which includes research questions, the significance of the searching, literature review, main concepts, the research process and methods.The second part, from charter two to chart four, is the main body of the paper, includes three new teachers’ detail, preparation to new job, teachers’ belief, new teachers’ training, new school’s culture and the teaching life and so on. We can see the teaching reality of the three teachers.The third part is the conclusion part of the paper, embodying charter five, includes the case study and the lack of the research.
