| In the modern society with a rapid pace of life, parents of small children not only have to face the pressures from the work and the daily life, but also the pressures from the role of the parents during the parenting. How to release the parenting pressures and make the parents fulfill their parenting obligations is always gaining the attention of the education field.This research takes those parents whose children are in the kindergarten school in Taiyuan city as the research objects. This thesis mainly conducts a survey into the child’s parents parenting stress and social support status quo, as well as the source of social support by means of the questionnaires. And it analyzed the parents’ social support, the relationship between parenting stress and social support and level for the forecast of the parenting stress related with social support and parents background. The results showed that:(1) In general, the parenting stress of the parents Taiyuan is not high, slightly lower. Among them the pressure from "the environment" and "preschool education" are the two highest ones.(2) Social support gained by the children’s parents is generally higher.
