Research In Juvenile Delinquency Based On Community Governance

The problem of juvenile crime has been a discordant factor in China’s socialist harmonious society, and it is also increasingly becoming a serious social problem. How to prevent and solve the problem of juvenile delinquency has been a major issue our various scholars and experts focus on. Community as a microcosm of society has a very important impact on the development of young people. For a long time, China on the prevention of juvenile delinquency has not make full use of and mobilized community resources, and has not taken measures of polycentric governance to prevent juvenile crime, so government leading to guide main co-governance in the community to the problem of juvenile crime is desperately needed. Strengthening community response and management to grasp the problem of juvenile delinquency trends and priorities is conducive to the improvement of the government’s ability to govern, to provide a good environment for the growth of young people, and to build a harmonious socialist society.Start from the concepts and features of juvenile delinquency, crime reasons and learning from experience of other countries on the basis of community governance perspectives to discuss the problem of juvenile crime, and put forward a series of measures. The first part of the article focus on the topic of significance of research, literature review, research ideas and methods as well as innovation and insufficient. The second part firstly described and defined the concept of juvenile delinquency. The second part explains the concept of community governance and community governance theory origin is also described and analyzed, such as the theory of good governance, public governance and network governance. The third part described and analyzed the current juvenile delinquency characteristics, and also the related cases demonstrate the characteristics and problems. The fourth part is for the causes of juvenile crime, including the government, families, schools, communities and social discussion and analysis. The fifth part described the experience of the United Kingdom, the United States and Japan through community prevention and control of juvenile delinquency, and summed up the experience and the way that our country should learn from. The last part mainly focused on the perspective of community governance, providing a solution to the problem of juvenile delinquency. Through the study of the subject to contribute to the prevention and resolution of the problem of juvenile crime in China, start with the community in the areas of concept, and slowly spread to the whole society, to improve the government’s capacity to respond better to the government building and social harmony development.
