The21st century is the era of the knowledge economy, the application value ofmathematic is fully reflected. In order to adapt to the development of society and economy,some modern mathematics knowledge, for example, the simple linear programming, arejoined to mathematics teaching material. With the development of psychology and pedagogyand social requirement for students to explore innovative ability, reforms of educationteaching mode continuously move forward. The simple linear programming involving theproduction of every aspect of life, which plays a great role in cultivating the students’mathematics application consciousness and ability of mathematical modeling and meanwhileshows important mathematical thinking methods on transforming and symbolic-graphiccombination, the first time extended function of one variable to the dual. Thence “the simplelinear programming” is a very important content in high school mathematics.Based on linear programming has very important value of education, this thesis adoptssome methods such as literature study, questionnaire method and so on, combined with hisown teaching practice, this thesis expounds the necessity of the introduction of linearprogramming, from the development process of linear programming and the requirementsof basic education reform to mathematics teaching material content, mathematics history andthe history of elementary education reform plays a very important guiding role in our teaching.From the point of location, content setting on "Simple linear programming in the textbooks"was put in the inequality module, which was argued by author should also consider accepthabits of students while the systematic knowledge was reflected.. Setup of the teachingmaterial content and ambiguity of langue give rise to students’ mathematical languageconversion. In recent years, the college entrance examination investigates the linearprogramming by explicit to the implicit, which increased difficulty. The investigate tothoughtway beginnings. The survey at this stage of students’ learning and teachers teachingpresent situation found it still could not get rid of the shadow of the exam-oriented education.Students cannot understand linear programming method and the modeling ideas. Combined with theoretical guidance of the development of teaching mode and students’ learning, an newview of teaching on linear programming is proposed and the teaching cases are illustrated.In order to adapt the demand of times development, teaching should strengthen students’understanding of mathematical modeling, raises student’s mathematics applicationconsciousness, pay attention to the teaching of mathematics thought method, truly reflectthe students "main body", teachers "dominance" in class, and cultivate students the spirit ofdiscovery.
