| This paper will focus on the design of problems in Chinese reading teaching of primary school, intended to collect relevant information of nine Chinese reading teachers through formal and informal interviews and non-participant observation in two primary schools, then reveal the status of the design of problems of primary school Chinese teachers by classifying and analyzing interview presentation, lectures on the record. After that this paper will propose problem designing strategies based on the status described above. This paper is unfolded by a basic ideas of theoretical discussion, revealed the status quo and problems, analysis and optimization suggestions. It consists of four parts:The first chapter represents the basic theory of elements composition and structure of problems, three basis and the process of problem designing. The last one is most important which based on concepts in problem designing, elements composition of problem and basis of problem designing. Its procedure include two steps:one is selecting content of teaching; the other one is transforming content of teaching into several problems.The second chapter represents the status of problem designing of primary school Chinese teachers in three dimensions from the purpose to the basis and strategies of problem designing. This paper represents the point of problem designing by table, the first two one represent objective of problem designing of all single problems from the aspect of relationship between problem and teaching content by analyzing single problem one by one. The last one represents different grades of teachers’ purpose of problem designing by analyzing all problems designed by teachers in one lesson of reading instruction. In the section of the basis of problem designing, it will elaborate two primary school teachers’ basis of problem designing and how to use those basis to design problems through specific examples. In the section of the strategy of problem designing, more detailed strategies of lesson preparation of two schools will be described.The third chapter is main to reveal shortcoming of the design of problems of teachers from three dimensions:the purpose, the basis and the strategy of problem designing. Those problems including:problems designed by individual teachers are too hard for students to solve or lack of connection between the problem; individual teachers are insufficient, misread or misapplied basis in the procedure of the design of problems; there are problems in the strategy of collective lesson preparation of a primary school named C. Then this chapter will analyze the reason of those problems from three levels:capacity of problem designing of teachers, effect on strategy of problem designing by teaching of reading patterns, interpretation of the standard of Chinese curriculum and compilation of the textbook.The fourth chapter is main to represent optimal countermeasure of problem designing of teachers from three respects:teachers, schools, editors or interpreters of the standard of Chinese curriculum and textbook. Those recommendations including: improve the ability to design problems by perfecting teacher training and daily practicing of problem designing; optimize strategy of problem designing by promoting reform in education; provide convenient condition for teachers by interpreting Chinese curriculum standards and compile new textbook. |
