| The Advanced Placement courses (AP courses), is a kind of courses with academic standards and the level of attainment as the same as university courses’requirements which opened in the high school. Recently, a number of colleges and high schools have been actively studying the AP courses. Based on combing the existing resources and making an investigation of primary practices in our country,researcher tries to make some studies including the present situation of AP courses,issues from the current implementation and strategies to solve problems.Researcher hopes that this study can provide implications to the successful practice and offerings of AP courses in our country.The thesis is divided into five chapters.The introduction, as the first chapter of the paper, mainly describes the origin,meaning, purpose and method of this study.It analyzes the difficulties and innovations of this research,introduces the related researches at home and abroad, and makes an explanation and interpretation to the key words of "high school","AP courses" and so on.The second chapter is about"the current situation of Advanced Placement courses offerings opened in high school at home".Based on the analysis and summation of the existing resources, researcher combs and summarizes the current situation of AP courses offerings offered in high school through the teachers’and students’perceptions of AP courses, the way to offer AP courses,the types of AP courses offerings and the usage route of its learning results.The third chapter is about "the analysis of the issues from the current implementation of AP courses".Researcher analyzes the issues faced from the current implementation of AP courses from the leadership level, value level and implementation level perspectives.The fourth chapter is about "the strategies to promote the development of AP courses". Researcher suggests that building up the cooperation mechanism between the high school and university,establishing an appropriate curriculum system,establishing and improving the assessment system,promoting the selection and training system of teachers can contribute to the development of AP courses. |
