| Taking some universities as examples in Wuhan and using the method of grounded theory, this study interviewed twenty college students who continuously participate in physical exercise behavior. The purpose was to explore the formation process of durative physical exercising behavior. By opening coding, this study has found that there are five main categories that influence the formation process of durative physical exercising behavior, durative physical exercising motivations, physical exercise stimulatives, physical obstructive factors, psychological territoriality and coping strategies. Basing on the social interaction theory and by adopting axial coding and electing coding, this study constructed the theory model of formation process of durative physical exercising behavior. This model reveals that the formation process of durative physical exercising behavior is a result of taking effective coping strategies which promoted by the exercising motivations and physical exercise stimulatives and obstructive factors, and the function of exercise stimulatives and obstructive factors to the physical exercising behavior promoted by the intervening conditions of durative physical exercising motivations under the background of psychological territoriality. Specific research conclusion is as follows:(1) In the theory model this study, exercise stimulatives and obstructive factors are the causality condition, the physical exercise stimulatives includes physical exercise foundations, physical exercise effects and favorable social environment; physical exercise obstructive factors includes non-sustainable and sustainable physical exercise obstructive factors.(2) Under the background of psychological territoriality physical exercise motivation is an intervening condition of physical exercise stimulatives and obstructive factors. And promote exerciser to adopt effective coping strategies to maintain the physical exercise behavior.(3) The study shows the effective coping strategies that exercisers adopted includes fixing exercising time, looking for replaceable exercising ways, improving entertainment of exercising, overcoming lazy psychology and creating regularly lifestyle.(4) Psychological territoriality plays a regulating effect between the durative physical exercising motivations and behavior. This regulating effect mainly appears in that psychological territoriality can make exerciser perceive more physical exercise stimulatives and adopt coping strategies to overcome exercising obstructive factors, and developing and strengthening physical exercising motivation. |
