In2011by the ministry of education of the People’s Republic of China promulgated the compulsory education curriculum standard stipulated in the English course of study to achieve the requirements of the five aspects, namely, language skills, language knowledge, emotional attitude, learning strategies and cultural awareness. But our traditional primary school English teaching makes the students by rote, infusion. The teachers only pay attention to the cultivation of students’ language skills and language knowledge, ignore students’emotional attitude, learning strategies and cultural awareness training. Especially the emotional attitude of the students has been ignored. A lot of students in lower grades are interested in English, but as the growth of the grade, the interest of English is also reduced.PowerPoint Games as a way of game teaching, is very popular in foreign countries. But they are still not popular in China. This research by use PowerPoint Games to design primary school English course, to help students learn English, to improve students’ English learning interest, and provide help for the teachers.This research is based on the game teaching theory, constructivism theory, humanism theory, according to the systematic theory of teaching design, analysis and design based on PowerPoint Games in the primary school English courses. Provides the primary school English course based on PowerPoint Games related design model. And by means of literature research, observation and investigation, in the N primary school of Y city fifth grade in primary school English courses based on PowerPoint Games application research, and analyzes its application effect. Confirmed based on PowerPoint Games in the primary school English course to improve students’ English learning interest, strengthen the cooperation between students, help teachers to game teaching design, provide a basis for the relevant practice in PowerPoint Games promotion.
