Chinese textbook for high school is the carrier of Chinese teaching, and is also the important media to teaching conduction. Under the guidance of "normal high school language curriculum standards (experimental)",the Chinese textbook of People’s Education Press(2007edition) selected by outstanding group of literary works contains a lot of classical literary works from Chinese and foreign literature. The classical texts in it is dazzling treasures of Chinese ancient literature,and it’s also the essence of the ancient history. They are the window for senior student to learn about Chinese ancient literature and Chinese traditional culture.Classical version and annotation of the text has very important significance. It’s the key to understand the meaning of the text.The object of this paper is the classical texts in Chinese (compulsory) textbook of People’s Education Press(2007edition).and the study includes the versions and explanatory notes of the classical text. Firstly, using the knowledge about versions to compare and correct the selected version, the title for the selected text, excerpts, variant of a Chinese character and punctuation; Secondly, using authoritative versions, notes and academic papers to compare and correct the explanatory notes of the classical text.On these foundation,called microscopic studies, summarized statistics, categories and problems in macroscopic study.From the two perspectives on classical text’s versions and explanatory notes of the classical texts in Chinese (compulsory) textbook of People’s Education Press(2007edition), conduct a comprehensive analysis and specific proposals of the problems,and hope make a little contribution to improving the textbook, lead to more people pay attention to textbooks,classical texts and teaching of ancient Chinese.
