Research On The Comparison Between The Requirement And The Implemention Of Senior High School Scientific Module Curriculum Hours

It is nearly ten years since the implementation of the new curriculum in September,2004.In the new curriculum reform,the curriculum structure and the curriculum content have changed.In the aspect of the curriculum structure,the senior high school new curriculum is made up of learning areas,subjects and modules.This can promote students’comprehensive and individualizing development.It also reflects the foundation,the selectivity and the modernity.Normally,according to the requirement of the new curriculum,each module should be completed in40hours.There are more researches on the senior high school module curriculum,meanwhile the fewer researches on the implementation of the senior high school module curriculum hours. We can find out the hours for each module in the actual teaching process through the research on the implementation of the module curriculum hours,so as to provide references for the formulation of hours.The research mainly consists of two parts:Research one,the requirement of the senior high school scientific curriculum hours.This research analyzes the requirement of the senior high school scientific curriculum hours in our country and the major foreign countries or regions.Research two,the survey of the implementation of the senior high school scientific module curriculum hours in Shandong province.This survey is divided into four parts: teachers’understanding of the requirement of the senior high school new curriculum hours,teachers’recognition of the requirement of the senior high school new curriculum hours,the senior high school scientific module curriculum weekly hours,the number of weeks of the senior high school scientific module curriculum.Then this research analyzes the comparison between the requirement and the implementation of the senior high school scientific module curriculum on the basis of the survey.Through the two researches above,the following conclusions:(2)For physics,chemistry and biology,the physics hours is maximum among25%of the major foreign countries or regions.The chemistry hours is maximum among8.33%of the major foreign countries or regions.Three subjects hours is the same among33.33%of the major foreign countries or regions.Among25.00%of the major foreign countries or regions,the physics hours is the same as the chemistry hours.In addition,the two subjects hours are both more than the biology hours.In Taiwan,the physics hours is more than the chemistry hours and the biology hours is an interval.(2) For physics,chemistry and biology,most of teachers understand the requirement of the new curriculum hours.However,for physics,chemistry and biology,nearly half of teachers do not think the hours is reasonable.(3)For physics,physics1hours and physics2hours are both more than the requirement of the new curriculum.In the elective1series,the eletive1-1hours is less than the requirement.In the elective3series,the elective3-1hours and the elective3-2hours are more than the requirement.The elective3-3hours is the same as the requirement and the elective3-4hours is less than the requirement. For chemistry,chemistry1hours and chemistry2hours are both more than the requirement of the new curriculum.[Chemistry and Life] hours is the same as the requirement.[Structure and Nature of the Substance] hours is less than the requirement.[Fundamentals of Organic Chemistry] hours is more than the requirement.[The Principle of Chemical Reaction] hours is more than the requirement.For biology,the hours is the same as the requirement of the new curriculum among the three compulsory modules.[Biological Technology Practice] hours is less than the requirement.[Modern Biological Science and Technology Topics] hours is less than the requirement.(4) In the actual teaching process,examination explanation is the main factor affecting the implementation of the module curriculum hours.(5)Examination explanation is the main factor affecting the proportion of the three subjects hours.In the examination explanation,the physics score is maximum,followed by chemistry and the biology score is minimum.In the actual teaching process,the physics total hours is maximum,followed by chemistry and the biology total hours is minimum.
