| In the new developing stage of the modern teaching in senior middle school, many aspects have beengreatly improved: the teaching facilities are modernized, teaching team become stronger and teaching ideasare updated. We feel happy about the changes. At the same time, we should also see the new problems andthe challenges we face now. For the first-year senior school students the study is a transition from juniormiddle school to senior middle school. Because the involved knowledge becomes more complicated andstudy turn fast-paced, students must work harder to cope with the difficulties. This can cause trouble to a lotof students.Intensive observation and study of high school students learning, living, psychologicalchange, fun loving is the key to solve the problems. Finding the rule of the students’ growthand systemically studying the related theory of education science, psychological science canhelp us analyse characters of the problem and it is essential to solve the difficulties. Thereexist many research materials of senior middle school mathematics learning difficultiesincluding foreign and domestic materials.This paper mainly concerns those facts that affect the students’ mathematics study,excluding the intelligence and physical aspects. Factors that cause learning difficulties mainlycomes from three aspects: first, the facts come from the students themselves, includingmathematics learning motivation, learning attitude and the master the correct method; second,school education, including the organization of mathematics class and teaching materials andthe teachers; third, social and family impacts.The paper consists five parts. In the first chapter we introduce the background of thestudy and clarify the mathematics learning difficulties and other related concepts. We alsoexplain the research method of the research of this paper. In Chapter2we introduce therelated theory, including teaching and psychological theory. In Chapter3we analyse learninghabits and study difficulties. In Chapter4we investigate teaching materials and thecurriculum. In Chapter5we give strategies and suggestions. |
