| At present, vocational education is vigorously developing in China. The values ofvocational education are not only in contributing further to the social and economicdevelopment, but also in promoting the social employment, personal development. Themathematic plays an important role in cultivating students’ rational thinking and the ability ofanalytical reasoning. Mathematics is an important tool for students to learn the professionalskills and knowledge. Trigonometric function is the basic knowledge of mathematics, andarguably the basic knowledge of almost every high-technology, it is a kind of basicelementary function, and plays an important role in mathematics learning. So the vocationalstudents show how to learn the trigonometric function. This paper is the investigation in thevocational school which the researcher works in.This paper is divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction, mainly expounds thevalue of vocational education, the necessity of mathematics, and the importance oftrigonometric function. The second part mainly expounds the present situation andachievements of research on the trigonometric function teaching at home and abroad. Thethird part is the investigation and study. The researcher makes an investigation in a vocationalschool on the understanding of the definition of trigonometric function, the recalling andapplying of trigonometric function formula, the understanding and applying oftrigonometric function image and nature, the applying of trigonometric function and otheraspects. The fourth part is related to the trigonometric function; the researcher combines withmy own teaching experience and puts forward some teaching suggestions on vocationaltextbooks and teachers’ teaching in order to promote the teaching efficiency of trigonometricfunction and change the study of trigonometric function knowledge. The fifth part is thedesign of teaching of the “arbitrary angle of trigonometric function definition", which is thecore content of trigonometric function, only the students understand the definition of“arbitrary angle of trigonometric functionâ€; students can learn the trigonometric function well.The sixth part is the conclusion and further thinking. |
