In the Chinese reading teaching in high schools, some teachers focus on paraphrasing the passage of the textbook and introduce some relevant reading materials, so as to better understand the textbook of a method called the text with reference to interpretation, however, even speaking with a reading text, same extracurricular, due to different time of the introduction and different presentation, will produce different results. How to ensure the quality of the text with reference to interpretation is a problem that needs serious attention.In order to carry out in-depth study of the text with reference to interpretation, the author has transcribed twenty-six courses relevant to texts with reference to interpretation, like Preface to Teng Wang Pavilion, On the Teacher, Lane in the Rain, Saying Good-bye to Cambridge Again, In Memory of the Last Speech Of Liang Qichao, Animal’s pain, Fan Ai Nong, Coach Lin hitting Coach Hong, Sitting by the Master, Tear and Pearl and so on. The research,based on the previous courses, analyzes the application situation of the texts with reference to interpretation in middle-school Chinese courses, explores the reasons for text with reference to interpretation and tries to propose effective teaching strategies.The research analyzes the application situation of the texts with reference to interpretation in middle-school Chinese courses, including the selection and presentation mode of the relevant texts. As for the selection of the materials, the paper mainly focuses on the sources of the materials,taking the text style and selection scope into consideration. The purpose of supplementation of the texts with reference to interpretation is better understanding of the text authors, text styles&linguistic knowledge and the text style. Concerning the presentation mode of the materials, the paper analyzes from three aspects:representation media, representation degree and representation subject.The author has summarized and analyzed the interview records, concluded two reasons for using the text with reference to interpretation. First, the objective reality of teaching need the text with reference to interpretation, For example, the limitation of reference books, relevance of the knowledge and limitation of teachers’ understanding of the textbooks exists. Second, in the reading teaching, the text with reference to interpretation has advantages:it can achieve a driven articles, it can provide relevant resources and assist them comprehending the text; it can be easy to reach teaching goals and improve classroom teaching.In terms of the effective teaching with text with reference to interpretation, should pay attention to the following aspects:the text with reference to interpretation method should consider the students’ acceptance ability so that it can reach the best effect; the quality of the text should be considered to promote the construction of the meaning; the quantity and the time allocation should be considered to adjust the presentation mode and presentation time; the teaching environment can be created to meet the students’ learning demand; the cooperation and communication in the text with reference to interpretation process can be reinforced; the teacher can arrange the students to do the reading exercises autonomously with the help of the text with reference to interpretation.
