Students in primary school have their special characteristics, so that it brings teachers more challenges. Self-efficacy is such a subjective judgment of whether the success will happen to oneself, which will directly bring much influence to the activity of individual himself, while the leaning of Self-efficacy will effect the academic achievement, both directly and indirectly. The Attribution Theory has made much progress with notable achievements. It makes great reference to the research of academic achievement. So the study of how to stimulate the Self-efficacy, as well as the training of Attribution of academic achievement for students in primary school,take remarkable importance both theoretically and practically in English teaching for students in primary school.Based on theory of Self-efficacy and Attribution,this artical do research on the Self-efficacy and Attribution Theory of students in primary school,by statistic data from two kinds of Questionnaire named " Questionnaire of English learning self-efficacy " and " Questionnaire of English Learning Attribution Style" issued to262students in primary school grading from four to six, however, this artical also refers to the relation between learning Self-efficacy, Attribution style and Academic Achievement in English study for high grades students in primary school.The results prove that:(1) There’s few difference between students grading from four to six in primary school in aspects of sex, Self-efficacy and Attribution, but remarkable differences exist in aspect of academic achievement.(2)Students in higher grades get high score in learning positive attribution and low score in learning negative attribution, which states that the attribution style is comparatively ideal in English study.(3)The Self-efficacy, attribution style and academic achievements are in the relationship of positive correlation significantly, the more positive attribution, the higher Self-efficacy and academic achievement; the positive correlation relationship between Self-efficacy and academic achievement states that the higher Self-efficacy leads to higher academic achievement.(4)TheSelf-efficacy intermediates attribution style and academic achievement in English learning between students in high grades in primary school.
