"Ordinary high school language curriculum standards" point that "language is the most important communication tool, is an important part of human culture," reading plays an important role in language learning, owning reading ability is basic reflection of a student’s language literacy. Improve high school language reading ability is the requirement of rapid social development and personal growth students. So we must pay attention to the high school language teaching and reading, the theory of multiple intelligences can give us some useful enlightenment.Although we took a positive and useful exploration on high school language teaching and reading, achieved some effect, such as personalized reading, dialogic reading, find reading, these models adds bright colors to high school language teaching and reading and research, However, the current situation also need to have a clear understanding and to make further efforts. For example, some students’interest in reading is not strong, reading thinking lack of personality, reading evaluation methods are single, and so ignored the inner needs of students. The author write this paper to talk enlightenment of high school language teaching and reading based on multiple intelligences theory, investigate mainly from the macro and micro aspects.From the perspective of teachers to talk about the macro-enlightenment has three points: Firstly, respect for the subject read:no poor students, only the differences. High school language teaching and reading should take students in his heart, a teacher should have good understanding of students, and students should have good knowledge of their own cognition; Secondly, pay attention on the learning process: to reduce performance and increase understanding. Process should pay attention to the teaching and reading in the students’ understanding of the text, rather than formal performance, it should encourage students to express their understanding in their own way; Thirdly, rich evaluation methods: refuse single and encourage diverse. Because each student is unique, they have different ways of understanding the text, they have difference in the speed of the text understanding, so it should attach importance to the evaluation of diversification.From the perspective of students to talk about the microscopic-enlightenment has three points:First, the self-experience and develop habit: self-awareness, causing interest. The freshman can exert intrapersonal intelliengence to clear his strengths in reading, give full play to the strengths, stimulate their interest in reading, reading independently at wide range, to develop good reading habits; Second, teacher’s instructor, exchange and sharing: pay attention to cooperation, maintain interest. The sophomore in high school should exert interpersonal intelligence to conduct teachers and students’cooperation of reading. This stage, teachers should guide students consciously use their reading strengths to promote reading weaknesses; Third, explore methods and prepare examination: logical analysis, adjusting interest. Grade three had to face the. exam, now they should reinforce integration of language and literature,besides, teacthers have to induct students reflect on and summary their own reading thinking and reading examinations methods, so as to achieve the purpose of promoting students a comprehensive and personality development.
