| Mind mapping is the expression of divergent thinking, which is an effective toolfor learning and thinking. It can organize information in forms of text, color, pictures,etc., use the function of “right brain plus left brainâ€, to build a divergent-and-nodetype structure, fully stimulate the brain potential and improve the efficiency oflearning.This paper uses a case-study approach to research, and its purpose is to try toadd mind mapping to the Chinese language teaching of secondary vocational schoolaccording to its features, enhance the quality and effectiveness of teaching, raise thelevel of language learning among students, try to make mind mapping become atruly practical and effective language teaching tool and provide some reference forthe future study of mind mapping using in the field of vocational education andlanguage teaching.The study shows that adopting mind mapping in secondary vocational languageteaching courses can help teachers organize their teaching materials and teachingideas systematically, make a better preparation for teaching and instructional designand help students play the key role in learning,cultivate interest, grasp theknowledge completely and develop a complete thinking process.In addition, as an effective way of exchange and communication, the mindmapping also enhances the students ’logical thinking ability, language skills andcooperative learning, and has a positive influence on the improvement of students’reading comprehension. |
