Senior high school Chinese reading teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching. By reading instruction, teachers provide their students with access to a wealth of knowledge to improve the humanities. Although China’s new curriculum reform has been implemented for a long time, in current high school Chinese teaching practice, there is also incompatible with the new concept of teaching philosophy, classroom reading instruction remains phenomenon of "high consumption and low efficiency". Therefore, research on an effective strategy for high school Chinese teaching of reading has a very important practical significance.As a teacher engaged in high school Chinese teaching, the author attempts to combine decades of experiences gained and problems found in high school Chinese teaching of reading to expand research accordingly, and seek an effective way to improve high school Chinese reading teaching. In this paper, high school Chinese teaching of reading PEP version as the research object, actual classroom case as support, from the aspects Chinese reading teaching goal setting, content and methods, organization and implementation, analyzes the problems and proposes appropriate and effective strategy.In this paper, method of literature, observation, case studies, comparison and other methods are adopted for high school Chinese reading teaching. Main contents are consisted by the following four chapters:Chapter I:Introduction. It is an introduction of the origin and significance of this research, and literature review, teaching and concept definition of reading teaching, research methods.Chapter II:Analysis for current high school Chinese reading teaching goals. The thesis focuses on problems in Chinese reading teaching target, such as lack of integrity, rationality and hierarchy, and points out that the target should be designed with overall awareness, accuracy and rationality, and to reflect the hierarchy.Chapter III:The content and methods analysis of Chinese reading teaching. The thesis introduces the problems in handling books for reading teaching, analysis from the text content, subject, systematic thinking, and proposals corresponding strategy.Chapter IV:Present situation analysis of organization and implementation of high school Chinese reading teaching. Teaching in classes is the organization form of Chinese reading teaching. Usually, Chinese reading teaching is not "teaching according to the aptitude". Reading teaching should pay more attention to the students, adopt a voluntary cooperation and exploration way to promote the development of the students, and improve the students’learning interest and enthusiasm by various teaching style.
