There are much cultural and traditional differences between China and U.S.A which led big difference of their educational idea and tool, this can be seen from the test books of two countries. Physics is one of the most important lesson in high school, experiment is the most important way and content of physics learning.Doing compare on the physics test books of two countries, can not only help us update our idea, but also give us some inspiration on writing and using our test books.Base on the main physics test books of the two countries, this article make comparison on the main theme,style, amount and content of the experiment,show similarities and differences with chart and words, give out suggestions in seven parts as below:The first part is to introduce the background of the theme this article discussing, the current research result,as well as the target,the meaning, the tools and field of this article.The second part is to make comparison on the main theme of the physics test books of two countries, to point out the similarities and differences of status and range of the experiments.The third part is the make comparison on experiment form of the test books of the two countries, such as the kinds, operability and requirement.The fourth part is making the comparison on the quantity of experiments, and show the result in charts of experiments in different kinds and aims, see the difference of quantity and focus.The fifth part is on the content of the test books. The article use different ways to show the set of the experiment steps, and the different ways of expression of a same experiment in two test books.The sixth part is some conclusion and inspiration drew from the comparison and research. The article also give some suggestions on the writing of physics test books in the future.The seventh part is conclusion and expectation, to find out the lack of research and those to be solved.Through comparison and research, it’s found that it’s the same that the test books in two contries both have big amount of experiment,and focus on the process and tools of experiments,want to train students to be creative. However,there are also difference in connecting the knowledge with the experiments, the design of exploring the truth, the connecting to daily life and so on. This article try to make various comparison to find out good points and problems, to give some references to the teachers writing physics test books and help to bring up more comprehensive talents.
