Research On Female Postgraduates’Status Of Career Planning

The education business of China developed quickly. Especially colleges is increasing enrollment and the number of postgraduates is becoming bigger and bigger in recent years. This phenomenon of postgraduates’ employment is becoming a big issue increasingly. Society concerns the issue of female employment all the time. As a special group, female postgraduates will be also being faced with this problem. Therefore, it is important to make a good goal and a plan in our lives. Career planning of female postgraduates is the process that being based on knowing ourselves and observing the environment around you, making career goal and relative study plan or action plan, realizing the plan step by step, and reasonably adjusting the plan at times. Once you have the action plan, it is helpful for the employment of female postgraduates. Based on the attention of this issue, the paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter One is about current situations of female postgraduates’ career planning. The author read and collects papers about career planning at home and abroad on Chapter Two. On Chapter Three, the author use questionnaire and interview as the research methods, and study the current situations about female postgraduates’ career planning on L University in Liaoning province. On Chapter Four, the author found a series of problems about career planning of female postgraduates, and analyzes the reasons of these problems. Such as the entire situation of female postgraduates’ career planning is not good; the level of knowing and valuing the career planning is low. Aim at these problems, the author come up with suggestions on Chapter Five. Enhancing the abilities of knowing ourselves and observing the environment; confirm one goal; improving self-efficacy; they female postgraduates, should know the importance of career planning, and make a clear plan for further. The students should take part in every activities and part-time jobs actively; however, colleges and society will also improve something. They should direct theory and practice about career planning targeted. And the society should take away the thinking that women are more useless than men.
