With the development of science and technology as well as the change of life style, leisureis gradually becoming an important life attitude and life style. As a special social group,vocational college students have plenty of leisure time, but most of them do not know how tomake good use of and manage their free time due to the lack of sufficient knowledge and skillsof leisure. They often have the negative feeling of boredom and depression. If this kind of moodspreads, deviation behaviors such as internet dependence will appear among the students.This research selects1000vocational college students as the research object by clusterrandom sampling method. By using Leisure Constraints Scale, Leisure Boredom Scale andChinese Internet Addiction Scale as the research tool, the paper analyzes the situation andcharacteristics of leisure constraints, leisure boredom and internet dependence, explores therelationship between leisure constraints, leisure boredom and internet dependence of vocationalcollege students and further reveals the effect of intermediary variables of the leisure boredom onthe leisure constraints and internet dependence. The results of the research show that:First, the overall leisure constraints of vocational college students is2.58, which is lowerthan the moderate degree. The interpersonal constrains factors get the highest score, followed byinterpersonal constraints, and the last is structure constraints. Besides the differences ofinterpersonal constrains in gender, there is no difference in the overall leisure constraints andother dimension of vocational college students. There are significant differences in the overallleisure constraints and three dimensions in the variable in the grade.Second, the leisure boredom(M=37.85)of the vocational college students is lower thanmoderate degree. There is no significant difference between male and female students in gendervariable. There is an obvious difference between male and female students in grade variables.Specifically speaking, leisure boredom increases with growth of the grade. The leisure boredomof seniors is much higher than that of sophomores. There is no obvious difference betweenfreshmen and sophomores as well as between sophomores and juniors. The interaction effect ofleisure boredom between gender and grade is obvious. After comparison of interaction effect ofleisure boredom, the grade main effect of male students is obvious. The junior is the highest,While the difference between freshmen and sophomores as well as between juniors and freshmenis not obvious.Third, the problem of internet dependence of vocational college students exists. The students without internet dependent, namely those who can use the internet normally accountsfor85.98%. The students who have internet independence account for10.87%. Those who haveinternet addiction account for3.1%. Gender factors in the internet dependence and the fourdimensions of the main effect are obvious. Specifically speaking, male students in the internetdependence and the four dimensions are higher than those of female students. Grade factors,which have no obvious effect in internet dependence, have obvious effect on compulsive internetusage and internet addiction withdrawal. After comparison, there is obvious difference betweensophomores and juniors compulsive internet usage and internet addiction withdrawal. While thedifference between freshmen and sophomores as well as between juniors and freshmen is notobvious.Forth, there is obvious positive correlation between leisure constraints, leisure boredom andinternet dependence of the vocational college students.Fifth, the interpersonal constrains and interpersonal constraints have obvious positiveprediction effects on leisure boredom, while structure constraints has obvious negative effects onleisure boredom. The interpersonal constrains and interpersonal constraints have obviouspositive prediction effects on internet dependence, while structure constraints have no obviousprediction effects on internet dependence. The leisure boredom of vocational college studentshas obvious positive prediction effects on internet addition.Finally, the leisure boredom is the intermediary variables of leisure constraints on internetdependence. Specifically, leisure boredom, which has full mediating effect on internetdependence in structure constraints, has part mediating effect on internet dependence ininterpersonal constrains and interpersonal constraints.
