This research is based on the theory of self-determination and employed motivationalquestionnaire, Quiz on writing creativity,299junior middle school students participated in thissurvey and this study is aimed to check the connection between motivation type and writingcreativity. This study is by researcher and experienced Chinese teachers engaged in Chineseteaching for years, Using empathy evaluation technology (CAT) to evaluate the middle schoolwritten stories from the originality, imagination, verbal fluency, rhetoric techniques, aestheticcreativity five indexes of evaluation in particular. The results showed:(1) On the height control, the main effect of gender is significant, Boys score higher thangirls, the main effect of grade isn′t significant, the interaction of gender and grade isn′tsignificant either. On the moderate control, the main effect of gender isn′t significant, neither themain effects of grade the interaction of gender and grade are. Edge on the autonomy, The maineffect of gender is significant, girls scored higher than boys, and the main effect of grade isremarkable. The results of the comparison show that grade eight, nine score significantly higherthan that of grade seven on the highly autonomous, the score difference of grade eight and ninewas not significant, the interaction of gender and grade was significant. Further simple effect testshows that the score of boys and girls on autonomy was significant on grade eight, girls scoredhigher than boys, on grade seven, nine, the girls′score of autonomy difference was notsignificant.(2) In the originality, imagination, verbal fluency, rhetoric techniques, aesthetic andcreativity scores, the main effects of gender are significant, and girls scored higher than boys, themain effects of grade were significant, the comparison results show that grade nine scores higherthan grade eight, grade eight scores higher than grade seven, with the increase of grade, itscomposition creativity overall level also constantly improves, no significant interaction betweengender and grade. (3) The height control and verbal fluency is of significantly negative correlation, nosignificant related to other dimensions; Moderate control and creativity, imagination, verbalfluency, rhetoric techniques, aesthetic, and the total score of composition creativity aresignificantly positively related; Moderate autonomy and creativity, imagination, creativity, verbalfluency, aesthetic feeling and the total score of composition creativity is significantly related andit is irrelevant to rhetoric skills; High autonomy and creativity, imagination, verbal fluency,rhetoric techniques, aesthetic feeling and the total score of composition creativity aresignificantly positively related.(4) The height control effect on composition of creativity and the dimensions of theprediction was not significant, moderate controllation, moderate autonomous and highlyautonomous significantly positively predict the creativity of composition and all dimensions.
