Globalization is not only economical globalization, but also globalization of politics, society, education, technology and culture. Nowadays society, the development of globalization has been a kind of social formation, while it brings opportunity to China, it also brings invasion to Chinese traditional culture. The development and heritage of national culture have been desalinating from our side. In the process of intangible cultural heritage protection researches, many researchers and scholars think that culture matters are in a dangerous trend. Physical education intangible culture heritage is an important part of our national intangible cultural heritage. So discussions on the current situation of Hubei physical education intangible culture heritage researches will have a great practical significance in stimulating the sustainable development of our national physical education intangible culture heritage items. Furthermore it will also provide some practical significance in follow-up researches on our national physical education intangible culture heritage. The research on this topic through these ways, document literature, field investigation, Delphi method, mathematic statistics, logic analysis and so on. Start from the geographical distribution of Hubei physical education intangible culture heritage, explaining the significance of protection. The results of this research basically have the following several aspects:1.Through systemizing of document literature find that currently Hubei has8national level physical education intangible culture heritages and39heritages of provincial level, and many of them distributed in minority areas and more than half of them in western Hubei.2.Currently, the management of Hubei physical education intangible cultural heritage organization gradually perfected, localization stimulate development, the variety of culture heritage. But it still exist some related problems, like segmentation of trap and block in protection, insufficient fund, shortage of local talent, low level recognition of traditional culture of the youth.3.Through the explanation of evaluation theory and under it’s guide, we build a physical education intangible cultural heritage protection evaluation system, which include protection policy system performance, local activation performance, cultural heritage performance, which have3one level indicators,12secondary level indicators and33third level indicators. Using Delphi method to weight the importance of the three indicators, they are protection policy system performance, cultural heritage performance, local activation performance.4.Using the development of Hubei physical education intangible culture heritage as an angle of view to do researches on the protection effect of Hubei physical education intangible cultural heritage and to build a three level indicators system of physical education intangible culture heritage performance evaluation. And design questionnaire according to the content of indicators and to do demonstration researches on LaiFeng county waving dance protection performance.5.Through the case study of LaiFeng county waving dance, and according to the result of researches, proposing suggestions in four aspects:developing cultural tourism, training people’s consciousness of intangible cultural heritage protection, increasing and introducing capital investment, creating industrialized cultural product.
