| For seeking new ways of college extra-curricular sports activities, and reflectingthe value and effect of extra-curricular sports activities in the management of collegestudents, the thesis take part college students and counselor of7universities inChengdu as research objects, with the methods: studying literature materials,questionnaires, interviews and comparative analysis method, to survey the effect ofextracurricular sports activities which are initiated by counselor. Research conclusionsare as follows1, Through the survey of the situation of counselor’ sports cognition, they cancorrectly recognize the positive aspect of sports, and approve of developingextracurricular sports activities in student management, but some factors hinder theextra-curricular sports activities, such as lacking of sports knowledge, sportsknowledge, and system guarantee absence.2, According to current situation of participating in extra-curricular sportsactivities, we find that extracurricular sports activities in college are overall better,college students hold a positive attitude to participate in extra-curricular sportsactivities. But the time they participate the extracurricular sports activities is too short,and the lacking of organization and administration hinder extracurricular sportsactivities conducting. Extracurricular sports activities in college need to be furtherimproved.3, It could improve their sports knowledge that Counselors initiatively carry outextra-curricular sports activities. And it could inspire the students’ interests inextra-curricular sports activities. Further more, it could promote students to activelyparticipate in extra-curricular sports activities. Thereby, the extra-curricular Sportsactivities could be effectively conducted.4, If counselors initiatively carry out extra-curricular sports activities, it couldpromote communication between counselors and students, strengthen the ideologicaland political education of college students, develop good life habits and promote thepositive affect on psychological health and social adaptation ability. Thereby itimproves counselors’ work efficiency and quality, promotes the students healthygrowth and meets the development requirements. |
