The paper analyze the feasibility and significance of the game-based learning in high school information technology curriculum instruction and studies the corresponding theoretical basis. By selecting two themes of Guangdong information technology required textbooks for high schools, indite instruction system design based on game-based learning and apply it to the teaching activities through action research. Thus improving the current problems existing in high school information technology curriculum instruction, and getting conclusion about the field of application, application conditions and limitations of game-based learning in high school information technology curriculum instruction.Chapter One:Summary of research. State the research background and methods, the present research status of game-based learning is also expatiated in the paper. Analyze the current problems existing in high school information technology curriculum instruction, expound the feasibility and significance of this study.Chapter Two:The relevant theoretical basis of the study.The main idea of this part is:Expounds the connotation of game-based learning, account the difference between educational games and the game-based learning.In addition,elaborate the theoretical basis of the study.Chapter Three:Action research of game-based learning in the instruction of high school information technology curriculum. By selecting two themes of Guangdong information technology required textbooks for high schools, indite instruction system design based on game-based learning, then choose two classes in senior one at the high school affiliated to Shaanxi Normal University to apply them to the teaching activities by using Deakin action research model. After two rounds of action research, observe the teaching result of instructional system design based on game-based learning,and make corresponding conclusion.Chapter Four:The research conclusion of action research and reflection on the game-based learning in the high school information technology curriculum instruction. After applying the instrctional system design based on game-based to high school information technology curriculum instruction through action research, get conclusion about the field of application, application conditions and limitations of game-based learning in high school information technology curriculum instruction. At last, propose the issues needing attention in using game-based learning. Chapter Five:Summary and prospect. Expatiate realizations and gains of this study as well as the work need to be made further efforts to improve and perfect. the practisethe study of the experience and achievement, as well as work to further improve the research. Finally, the foreground of game-based learing used and popularized in primary and middle school will be much lighter in the future.
