Diversification Of American College Entrance Admission Mode

This paper details diversified way of American universities’ admission accurately, and chooses three admission ways that contains early admissions, open admissions and two-way admissions, which have great significance to our country to analyze in detail and conduct case study. This paper tries to analyze the social foundation of multiple admission to the United States can implemented smoothly, and focus on analyze admission evaluation, admission criteria and admission institution, to a certain extent, it can enrich our country college entrance examination enrollment system theory research results to get diversification.First of all, this paper utilizes literature review method largely to detail the development history of American universities’ diversified enrollment and introduces the diversified culture and education background from the diversified way of American universities’ admission perspective, and provides necessary description to separate the enrollment evaluation system, in addition, it analyzes the diversified way of American universities’ admission from admission evaluation and criteria two dimensions.Secondly, this paper provides detailed description and analyses to three ways——early admissions, open admissions and two-way admissions, from five kinds of admission ways that American colleges and universities have implemented, and to each kind of way of admission process, evaluation and case study, and sets forth this three admission ways as much detailed as possible.Thirdly, this paper mines the cause of diversified admission based on the enrollment way that American colleges and universities have implemented. In the process of The United States university admission, society, government and colleges and universities plays an important role, which together forms the United States diversified admission factors.At last, from diversified admission concept and multi-level university system perspective, this paper gives a general comment on the diversified way of American universities’ admission, and according to the principle of inheritance and innovation, puts forwards some suggestions fitted our country college entrance examination reformation on the basis of the diversified way of American universities’ admission from the macroscopic and specific aspects.
