The Metaphorical Students View: History Retrospect And Status Situation

Education metaphor, as a method of expression of education, is closely relatedwith education research, and it proverbially exists in the education writings.Metaphorical students view is a kind of education metaphor. The search on thatmetaphor not only enables us learn about the relationship between educationmetaphor and education theory, and the value of education metaphor, but also makeit that we study and analyze the history retrospect and status situation of studentsview by means of the special function of metaphor.Metaphor possesses two functions of emotion and cognition, by which we feelaffective, and we can learn about unknown fairs via similarity. Metaphoricalstudents view is the basis of what we regard students as, which is related with thechange development renew of our students view. At the same time, the search ofmetaphorical students view shows us that metaphor analyze is an important method.It is difficult to express accurate mean by exact theoretical language, so manypeople express their students view by metaphor, by analyzing which we canunderstand the mean of metaphorical students view.Reviewing the history of metaphor home and abroad, I find that students viewitself has different aspects, including nature view, learning view and status view,and metaphor is based on the era and culture background.Investigating on the teachers’ students view by metaphor analyse, I find thatteachers can’t regard students roundly, their knowledge has conflicts, and the traitsof the teachers somewhat have negative effects on their students view. In order tooptimize teachers’ students view, I think we should focus on educating to bettereducation idea, reflecting to recite the flaws of their concepts, and reforming toimprove education environment.
