Research On Ideological And Political Education Innovation In Internet Environment

With the rapid development of information technology, the internet has become thelargest information carrier. College students are becoming more accustomed it to replacethe traditional network carrier communication. In the process of development of theinformation technology updating, internet environment gradually matures and producesmajor effect on the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Therefore, in the new internet environment, the innovation of ideological and politicaleducation for improving the quality of education has become a major issue for thenationality, social and the colleges.This article is mainly based on the background of the internet environment’screation, the theory of ideological and political education as well as the connectionbetween the two. In this article, the review of research on the current domestic andinternational related the field is analyzed and summarized. Under the basis of scientificallydefining the concepts related to the ideological and political education on internetenvironment, the characteristics, function and the theoretical basis are described fully inthis paper.Nowadays, the ideological and political education in internet environment has its ownobvious characteristics: in the aspect of the college students, college students has becomean important part of the net citizen subject, they are keen on the use of network socialcommunication tools, their network life stresses on more entertainment than utility, theinvisible invasion against ideology is generally ignored by them; on the other aspect of thecolleges and universities, the ideological and political education in internet environmenthas been preliminary results, but there are still some shortcomings.This paper considers that the ideological and political education in colleges anduniversities in internet environment faces with both opportunities and challenges. In thiscontext, on the background of the innovation of the ideological and political education ininternet environment, one hand, we can get some experiences and inspiration from theforeign network moral education; on the other hand, we can start from ourselves:combined with the characteristics of the internet environment, playing up strengths andavoiding weaknesses, innovating the idea of education, exerting the advantages of network,changing the forms and riching the content of education, building management system, topromote the innovation and development of ideological and political education in colleges and universities in the internet environment.
