In the practice of teaching and make students to study physics knowledge, skill and method, is a trend of the reform of physics teaching. In this paper, based on education psychology as the theoretical guidance, in the literature review, data analysis on the basis of making teaching aids, students participate in the teaching process will affect students’ learning effectiveness. Study results mainly from the three aspects of students learning interest, part of the experiment results, experiment exploring ability of.This paper mainly uses the experimental research method, supplemented by questionnaire, literature survey. The Ministry of education in2012approved the people’s education press "eight grade physics textbook" as the teaching content, to Tianjin Meijiang middle school eight years class one or two class30as the object of study, students participate in the teaching activities of self-made teaching aids. Select18small experiments from textbooks, in the experimental class adopted methods of collecting material from the life of self-made teaching aids for teaching activities, the control class is still using the method of demonstration experiment. Record each stage of student achievement in the experimental process of learning, physical experiment learning achievement, students’ interest in learning physics and experimental inquiry ability condition, and the statistical analysis of the results.According to the analysis of experimental results shows that:the development of students’ participation in self-made teaching is helpful to arouse the students’ interest in learning, improve students’ physics experimental learning, to cultivate the students’ ability of physical thinking, promote the student learn cooperation, improve students’ physics experiment exploring ability. To conclude, students participate in the development of self-made experimental teaching can improve students’ ability of scientific inquiry in physics experiment teaching.
